New Year’s Resolution: Keeping a Journal

I’ve been keep a journal on and off since the birth of my first child. I love journaling for many reasons. It’s helps me to get some of my thoughts and frustrations out. Some things are better left unsaid and only on paper. It really helps me from lashing out at my loved ones when I’m upset. Most importantly though, I love keeping a journal to remember things. I plan to re-read them all some day and remember the good and bad times. So many things happen to us and there is no way to keep everything in our long term storage. With a journal, I will never forget.

The downfall… With the busy hustle and bustle of life, It’s hard to keep up with! Some nights I just want to go to bed. Especially since the birth of our third child. She is only three months old, so when she goes out for the night, so do I.

My resolution this year is to keep up with my journal better. I know I wont regret it. Plus, I found this awesome¬†Q&A a Day 5-Year Journal. It’s just one simple question to answer each day. You can watch how you change and grow over the years. Plus you can start any time of the year, not just January. I¬†love it so much I bought my son (he’s 8) the Q&A a Day for Kids 3-Year Journal.
